“When we talk about the Oud, my mind immediately turns to the Middle East, where it is used daily. This is what surprised me most on my 1st trip there: the omnipresence of the oud. The oud is an ancestral wood whose use is strongly linked to various ceremonials and which has a particular aura. It's a complex wood that for me has two fundamental aspects. A soft part
which I've highlighted with amber, balms and myrrh. And a second, much more intense and mystical facet for which I used spices, incense and woods with smoky tones. »
